I canceled my membership on 04/08/21

I canceled my membership on 04/08/21. I even have email confirmation of my cancellation saying my card will not be charged. I AM STILL BEING CHARGED EVERY MONTH FOR OVER A YEAR. This place is a scam.

Scam!

I'm really unhappy and annoyed with my experience. Thy make you sign up for a membership and make it LOOK like you can go month-to-month. When I went to cancel--long drawn out "oh please stay we'll give you so many discounts and a pink elephant." No thank you! Just please cancel it. Oh wait, you paid for a year so I'll just make it not renew--Wait, what?

Total rip off and I will not be going back or recommending to anyone. I lost money in the end and they are completely fine scamming their customers.

I'm sorry I didn't look at the reviews. I would have never ordered anything from Thrive if I had. They are very deceiving and get you trapped into a membership. Just what happened to me. It's not easy to get out of it. If you order anything your trapped!
The computer generated reply is lame also.
Just as I said they sent a computer generated reply to my review, the same one as all the other ones who got trapped. They make nothing clear that when you order something you are in a membership and will be charged. I didn't even want to give them 1 star.
You are all warned! Go shop someplace else!

PURE GRIFTERS

Horrible company sent me food with dirt in it. I quickly requested a refund/return which they did. But now months later I get an unauthorized charge from them for $59.95. They were going to cop that money and claim I authorized some sort of membership. Luckily for me I check my bank accounts several times per day due to fraud like this. I phoned and explained I needed either a refund or I'd do a chargeback. Weasels pure and simple. How many other's got charged without their knowledge and lost money? I wonder. The law will catch up to them eventually.

this company is nothing but a scam… they steal money from your bank account…I had to get my bank involved to try to get my $ 60 back.. Do not do business with them… the customer service is a joke… no such thing!!

Wish I didn’t even have to give them a star. This is a scam and the worst customer service. All I wanted to do was browse the site thinking if I placed an order THEN I would be charged a membership fee. They charged me $12 and I never even placed an order. When I tried to email for a refund-no response. Tried to call-never got a person to talk to. Tried to chat-oh sorry we only offer refunds on yearly subscriptions. Yet you deceived me-I would never pay $12 just to browse a site. Prices were high and they didn’t have half of what I even would have been interested in. RUN and don’t waste your money! SCAM!!!

This is been a very good experience for me through strive market they’ve worked with me in so many different ways and they’ve always stood by what they mean products are fantastic and if you have any problem trying to keep membership they will comply with you in anyway they can unfortunately I’m not able to reassign my membership at this time

Part of my order was damaged at the delivery. When I called Thrive, Ralph was very understanding and helpful. He immediately reordered the damaged items.
And was very polite all through our conversation.

Package not delivered appropriately

Package not delivered appropriately. Handled with kindness and professionalism. Package was eventually delivered after being misdelivered, but Thrive was ready with a backup plan if not found within 24 hours. Always have great customer care in mind!

How much is the annual membership? Same for everyone?

A:

Membership is $75 annually but it is less for families who qualify and they donate membership for those in extreme need. I don't know what that limit is. Just the fact they do this is amazing.

I use a supplement called sleep remedy. Thrive does not offer it yet. I hope they will soon. Its only available online.

Quite a while back I became interested in Thrive Market and subscribed to their emails. I have never ordered anything from them, yet got charged.

A:

How could they charge you unless you entered in your payment information? The only time they ask for payment information is when one signs up for a Thrive Market membership (Thrive Market is an online discount shopping club.) and when one makes a purchase. Are you sure you ONLY signed up for emails? Or did you sign up for a club membership? In any case, the question / answer forum is the incorrect place for making such claims. There is NOTHING we can do about such things. Instead, I recommend contacting Thrive Market (They offer online chat support 24/7 at www.ThriveMarket.com. ) and explain the situation to them. They have super awesome customer service. I am confident that they will investigate the matter and assist you with your concerns and confusion.

How did they get your credit card info to charge you if you never ordered anything? It is a subscription based service and you will get charged according to your chosen preferences when you subscribe. If you gave your credit card then, you technically did order something, you just didn't get what you paid for.
